StarSkate This is where skaters enter competitions and/or take tests as they develop figure skating skills in four areas – skating skills, ice dance, freeskate and interpretive. Skaters receive one on one lessons with a coach and take part in group stroking lessons. |
Group StarSkaters This is where skaters are introduced to competitive figure skating as they learn the basic figure skating skills. They receive lessons in a small group setting and group stroking lessons. (Ideally for those skaters who have received Badge 4 in Canskate and want to continue on to learn figure skating) |

SynchroSkate Synchronized skating, or "synchro" is a specialized discipline of skating involving groups of eight or more skaters performing various group formations and maneuvers. The objective is for the team to perform as one unit executing circles, blocks, lines, wheels and intersections in unison to the music, while demonstrating quality edges, power and flow. Skate Canada’s SynchroSkate program includes a number of Synchronized Skating categories which accommodate skaters at any age and skill level |

All post-dated cheques are to be dated the 1 st and 15 th of the month ONLY. $25.00 will be charged for any NSF cheques.
Fees do not include fees for private or group lessons payable to coaches.
DVFSC reserves the right to make any changes to the registration form without notice.
*A late fee of $100.00 applies to any individual who enrols in DVFSC after June 14, 2011. New members to the club are exempt from this charge. A skater who leaves the club for any reason, other than medical, will be refunded as follows: 100% of all fees up to 1 week prior to the first day of skating, 100% of the DVFSC amount any time before the first day of skating. All other refunds will be pro-rated up to the end of October. There will be no refunds after the 1 st of November.
** Volunteer cheques will be cashed on January 15th. The club will refund the fee after carnival if all obligations are met.
